Post Wedding Extraviganza!

As a married couple of almost 3 weeks we have been very busy!

Lake Tahoe was a great week away! We relaxed, ate a lot of great food, enjoyed a few adult beverages, watched some movies, enjoyed the private beach that our resort was on and overall had a great few days together! Lake Tahoe was perfect because it was about 60 degrees and sunny! Just warm enough to enjoy the patio, beach and Corona!

After returning to home, Jordan went to work on Friday while I worked to get all of our wedding presents clean and put away! I secretly LOVE organizing things so it was a great day!!!!! "Out with the old, in the new." It was slightly hard for me to decide which mixer I should keep! Haha, ya right! However, my old one sure did a lot of mixing for me! Now our kitchen actually looks like a functioning kitchen! I have truly enjoyed my Kitchen-Aid, I know that is OUR Kitchen-Aid, but I prefer to say MY Kitchen-Aid because I know I'll be using it more often than Jordan :) It has already assisted me in making cookies and brownies. I think I'll put it to use again tomorrow night and make cookies for our Memorial Day weekend trip to the Cabin.

We have also started our "face lift" on the Diamond 7.

For those of you who have not been to our house, the Diamond 7 is our bar in the basement. Jordan and I (mostly Jordan, but I did help) two winters ago built a bar. A friend of Jordan's donated an old refrigerator to the cause. It functioned great and we've had lots of good times at the Diamond 7, but we got a handful of Home Depot gift cards for our wedding so we decided it was time to move forward with our Bar Plans!

We bought a new fridge that is smaller and fits the space much better. We also bought 2 cabinets that we are currently staining and installing! The counter top will be next!
After we get the cabinets and counter top completed then the fun beings! The design/decor! I am really excited to shop for some cool shelves for above the cabinets. We received a lot of the glassware/bar-ware that we registered for as wedding gifts also! YES! I will get to organize more things soon!

Last night we went to Cabela's and bought a .22 rifle for me! Jordan and I are exited to go Ground Squirrel hunting together! Look out little squirrels! Here we come! The long term plan for my .22 is going to be to change the stock out to a PINK stock! I am really excited to see what my gun looks like once we have all of it done! What a great husband, helping me buy a .22 rifle and not only "letting" me change the stock to PINK some day soon, but encouraging it!

We should also be getting our wedding photos on a disc soon from our photographer so that we can get prints and post a lot of pics! In the mean time Tiffany has created a nice collection of photos on her Blog from the salon.

Wedding Week

What does the week of your wedding feel like?
Well it has just begun but thus far:

Sunday was "normal" we got a lot of things done around the house, did lawn work and got a few things in order for the wedding.

Monday, at work (although I don't really want to be) trying to do work an not think of the wedding and things that need to be done. Tonight we are meeting with our celebrant, Father Len.

The plan for the rest of the week:
Tuesday: Go to work even though I don't feel like. Another "normal" day.

Wednesday: Decide if I wish to NOT go to work OR to work a half day (the way Mon/Tues look I have a feeling I'll choose not to attend work) Get things done! Clean the house a little, afternoon massage, pack a "Bridal Kit" get things organized. Pick up Dan at the Boise airport at 8:00pm, pick up Bridget at the airport at 10:00pm. SLEEP

Thursday: A delivery of roses will be coming to the house at some point, make sure someone is at the house until they arrive. Dan will organize us in "prepping" the roses for Aunt Donna. Mani/Pedi appointments afternoon/early evening. Mom and Dad arrive in Boise!

Friday: LOTS TO DO! Take things to the church, get set up, wait for BLISS EVENTS to come in and set up! Go home, get ready for rehearsal dinner, arrive at church to see everything set up by BLISS EVENTS and enjoy the evening of rehearsal and rehearsal dinner!

Saturday: SMILE, HAPPY, MARRIED!

Can't wait! Is it Wednesday yet? These 2 days of working are killing me :)
