The few followers that I have probably think I have given up on my blog.
Well, I haven't given up, we have just been so busy that I always forget about it! Let's just say wedding plans have taken over our lives and we are so excited for our wedding but it will also be nice for it to be over.
This past Saturday we finished our Pre-Marriage classes through the church, we had 2 Saturday's a in a row were we had to attend classes in order to get married in the church. The classes were enjoyable, we did a lot of talking to each other about all kinds of things, it was something that we enjoyed and would recommend to any couple.
The next few weekends to come are also booked, my mom is making my wedding dress (once the wedding is over, I'll blog about the dress and post "before, during and after" photos) it is coming along beautifully and I am so excited about it! Mom, you're doing a WONDERFUL job! I am headed home this weekend to do more work on it with her. We are well on our way with it, just final touches now!
The last weekend in February we are planning to do engagement photos with our photographer in the hopes that we'll get prints and include them in our invitations.... keep your fingers crossed that we'll have good weather and have some good photos to choose from! That same weekend, mom is going to come over with her sewing supplies and get started, if not finished, on Annie's dress, yes she is also making the bridesmaid dresses!
The first weekend in March hopefully we'll get all the envelopes addressed for the invitations.... we all know I don't have the best handing writing, my Matron of honor Tiffany and her sister Alisha have agreed to assist me with the addressing.... THANK YOU LOVELY LADIES in advance!
It just goes on and on up until the wedding day! I am very excited about the upcoming months, but it will be nice to be married and hopefully have things slow down.... but I hear it never slows down.... well, here's hoping!

We are engaged!
The story:
I worked Saturday in Vale @ The Willowcreek Store & Cafe, a restaurant that my parents own. Before I left for the weekend, I asked Jordan to buy me a trowel because I was going to bring home flowers from mom & dad's to transplant in our flower beds. Confused? It will all come together in a second!
I worked all day at the Store, we served 60 prime rib dinners, and I drove back to Boise Saturday night, arriving home , in Boise, at midnight Saturday night. Jordan was up waiting for me.
Very odd, there were a dozen red roses on the kitchen table. I asked Jordan, "What are the flowers all about?" He said, "I just wanted to get you some flowers."
Odd, cause Jordan doesn't often buy me flowers.
I turned the corner and a large rubber maid tub was on the couch and it was gift wrapped with a large bow on top. I asked Jordan "What is that?" and he said, "Just something for you."
After some teasing and wondering, I opened the box, inside it was another wrapped box, and 3 more wrapped boxes inside those boxes. Inside the last box was a trowel, yes, a red trowel.... I said, "All this for trowel?" Jordan smiled and said, "I have one more box for you" and pulled the ring box out of his pocket and said "Will you marry me?" I said "OF COURSE!"
LOVES and HUGS and TEARS and a only a few phone calls because it was 12:30 in the morning! :)
We have had a wonderful Sunday, sleeping in, went to breakfast @ Quinns, drank mimosas with breakfast to celebrate, had lots of phone calls and texts all day, and yes, I planted the flowers that I got from mom & dad using my new trowel :)
The story!!!!! Jordan definitely surprised me, confused me with the trowel and caught me off guard! WAHOO! We are engaged!!!!!

BB Gun Update
I have been scouting some squirrels in the back lawn! When I'm home I keep the blinds open and look every time I walk by. I have figured out that the best method is to go out the front door and sneak up on them in the back lawn. (They run when I open the back door, this is bad for kill shots!).
My BB gun, that I like to call The Pink Thriller has scared off quite a few flower eating squirrels! It doesn't kill them, it just gives them a good STINGER!

Broncos Beat Beavers

Yes, it was a fun game, a fun day and the final score was good enough for me! For me, it was a WIN WIN situation. If the Beavers would have won, I would have been a proud Alumni. Since the Bronco's won, I am a proud Bronco Fan as a member of the Athletic Department. I am in my 3rd year at BSU as an Academic Advisor for the Athletic Department. I was happy to see BSU win, but that doesn't mean I was happy to see OSU lose.
Mom, Vickie and I had a great time with our OSU/BSU shirts. We made shirts that were in support of both teams. Every where we went people loved them! (Well, I know that Jordan preferred the BSU side much more than the OSU side, his quote was "Pick a team"). We were even called "Creative Bitches"! We took it as a compliment!
The day of the game was an adventure. Jordan and I woke up at 6:45 so we could watch College Game Day at 7am. We quickly got ready while watching and were picked up by a friend at 8am, at the stadium around 8:20 (it took a while to load the pickup with the tailgating necessities). We arrived and set up "camp" for the day. We had issues withe TV, and the BBQ, but after some investigating, we had everything successfully set up and watched the rest of College Game Day at the tailgate.
Mom, dad, Vickie & Darrell arrived at our house around 11:30, so I went home to meet up with them. We finished up our shirts, I gave a tour of the house to Vickie and Darrel, ate lunch and headed back to the stadium around 1:30pm. We walked around, enjoyed the atmosphere and tailgated until kick off!
We had a great day, enjoyed everyone that came for the game, and the Boise Cascade Tailgate was the BEST COMPANY TAILGATE TO DATE!
It was a great day and a successful day!
Mom and dad stayed the night with Jordan and I, we hit church with them in the morning and then recovered the next day.
GO BRONCOS!
GO BEAVERS!

Boise State vs. Oregon State
I am super excited for the BSU vs. OSU Football game this weekend! It should be a great day! I have never been to a game that ESPN COLLEGE GAME DAY has come to so it should make for an even better day!
Mom and I made shirts for the two of us and Aunt Vickie that allow us to root for both teams, OSU and BSU, Velcro & some creativity, I'll post pics after the game! Is it Saturday yet??????
